Midlet
Java Midlets sind kleine Softwarepakete, die auf java-tauglichen Mobiltelefonen installiert werden können. Damit können mobile Anwendungen ausgeführt werden, beispielsweise das Versenden von Fotonachrichten. Die Anwendungen werden lokal am Mobiltelefon ausgeführt, nur die Daten werden über das Mobilfunknetz gesendet.
